Made of pewter and silver plated, with the inner lining of silk origin, small jewelry box of the reputable brand WMF. With foliate decoration. Original silk lining with some signs of the passage of time but in very good condition considering the age of the object.
At the bottom are the different punches indicating the quality, quantity of silver plating.
This is an elegant piece of excellent Art Nouveau style.

Marked with running ostrich and the inscription WMF/G, also 'N' meaning oxidized silver and 'Z/O' meaning normal silver-plate thickness.
Made by WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) workshop in Germany around 1910 - 1925.
